This medal was awarded to Robert Oliver (Director) in 1910 and although engraved 'English Cup' it is believed it was made and awarded for the FA Cup final of 1910 between NUFC and Barnsley. The Oliver family were an important part of early Newcastle United history, and this medal has stayed in the family since that time.
