Since reopening in June 2020 we have welcomed a new Senior Valuer and three Trainee Cataloguer & Valuers to the Ryedale Auctioneers team.

Jeremy Wood joined the team in July 2020 and has worked in the industry for 40 years having spent most of his career at Bonhams in London. He specialises in British furniture and has an extensive knowledge across all departments.

George Rowell joined our team having graduated from Leeds Beckett University with a Master’s in Music Production. He specialises in antique instruments and vintage music technology and holds a comprehensive vinyl record collection. He aspires to follow in a family tradition of valuing and auctioneering.

Harriot McClemont joined our team having previously worked in the retail industry, specialising in visual merchandising. Her interests in vintage jewellery, fashion & textiles has led her to pursue a career working with antiques. She has relocated to North Yorkshire from Scotland to gain expertise and training from Angus, Jeremy and the team.

Charlotte Trueman worked for Ryedale Auctioneers whilst completing her Master’s degree in History of Art at the University of York, and was offered this role after graduating. She specialises in Fine Art, with a focus on British Art and hopes to learn more about antique furniture and ceramics.
