AUCTION RESULTS: Motorcycle Racing Memorabilia Sells for over £3,000

A collection relating to the Isle of Man TT has sold for £3,255 (including buyer’s premium). The items came from a deceased estate near Liverpool and included iconic TT trophies in the form of the god Mercury won by racer Derek Williams in the 1950s and 1960s. Mr Williams’ highest placing was 12th in the 1960s senior race but there was still plenty of interest in the items from buyers keen to own a piece of TT memorabilia.

Other items in the collection included medals, boots and a helmet also owned by Derek Williams.
