Also including a collection of single owner collection of antique arms, a single owner collection of cameras, and Mouseman and Yorkshire Oak items.
A number of lots in the sale were made by ex Mouseman workshop employee Sid Pollard of Bagby, near Thirsk. Sid Pollard’s work is unusual as unlike most ex Mouseman apprentices who went on to produce their own work he did not carve a signature into his pieces. His work is highly collectable due to his quality finishes, which include the ‘adzing’ technique, and paneled details.
A single owner collection of Leica cameras and lenses features in the sale and is expected to sell for around £10,000.
Furniture, silver, and decorative items in the country house style will also go under the hammer.
